For much of human history, people have been bereft of information, but today, the opposite is true. We live in an age of information abundance, and sifting through mountains of data to glean grains of truth is more than the mind can process.
Most search engines – like Google and Bing – use keywords to mine this datascape. But conventional search tools are imprecise and cannot suit the needs of analysts, who must be able to build sophisticated searches across languages other than English. Semantic Visions Search was engineered to fill this need.

Semantic Visions Search gives users a powerful tool to draw real-time insights from billions of online news sources. Built on Semantic Visions’ proprietary software, SV Search draws on Semantic Visions’ 80T database of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and structured metadata to enable knowledge discovery through precise queries on a broad range of topics and entities.
Moreover, SV Search provides up-to-the-minute insights on emerging events and trends using sentiment analysis and geographical dimensions, making it possible to see events before they emerge. With SV Search, your situational awareness will never be clearer.
Phase 1
Semantic Visions Search collects data from 900,000 openly available online news sources in 12 major languages. – including Arabic, Chinese, French, German, and Spanish. In addition to general-purpose news articles, Semantic Visions collects and analyzes content from websites publishing news on specific topics, research results, politics, business, security, and academic analysis or debate.
This information is stored, analyzed and connected using proprietary AI software and cross-language semantics. The focus on semantics is the main advantage over other traditional search engines, which work only with keywords (full-text search) and are unable to derive meaning from strings of data.
Phase 2
Insights generated by Semantic Visions Search are accessible via an intuitive web interface, which allows analysts in various domains of risk and security to search for facts, identify trends, evaluate risks and threats, and understand their context.
