Paradoxically, the peak so prominently noticeable refers to the highest count of articles (170) published on 23 AUG 2023 when Greenpeace Central and Eastern Europe published its highly critical Dirty dozen report.
The report’s title, “The Climate Greenwashing of 12 European Oil Companies”, revealed that a mere 0.3% of the combined 2022 energy production (of six global fossil fuel majors and six European oil and gas companies) came from renewable power.
